In that store they have very nice “madeleines” perfect for a sweet afternoon and “navettes” with all kinds of taste: cumin, herbes de provence, roquefort…they are perfect for an appetizer.
It’s delicious as an appetizer or an entrée.
Here the ingredients you will need: Tomatoes, mozarella, basil, black olives, olive oil, sea salt and pepper. It is quite simple: Cut in very fines slices (important) the tomatoes and mozarella, then place them into a plate, add some olive oil, pepper, salt, for decoration: black olives and basil. Place in your fridge for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
A nice change for appetizers, its goes very well with a nice white, for example a Pouilly-Fumé.
You will need:
Cooked Shrimps, parsley, garlic, olive oil and lemon. In a hot fry pan, put some oil, then add garlic, shrimps and a lot of parsley on high temperature, 4 minutes is enough. Then on a stick put 1 shrimp, 1 little piece of lemon, 1 small piece of mint, 1 shrimp…
Unfortunately it doesn’t seems to exist a translation for “Pots de crème” in english I will have to look further… A very nice dessert or nice sweet for a Sunday afternoon.
You need some good cream, milk, the best raspberry or kirches, you can add real vanilla (the inside of the stick into your milk when its cooking) sugar and ice sugar for a little touch of decoration. I like small portions they look nicer…more elegant.
The beef carpaccio is an easy dish: You just have to go to your favorite butcher, tell him you want to make a carpaccio, he will make very fine slices almost like lace.
Then place them nicely in a plate, where you add olive oil, lemon, sea salt and grounded pepper you can also add grated parmesan cheese, just delicious, I personnaly add a little touch by decorating the dish with basil, it does taste also very nice. Enjoy!
